THE HEART BEHIND A.I.M.
Writer · Editor · Educator · Creative Visionary

Aceia Maysonet is a dynamic creative professional with a multifaceted background spanning writing, editing, film production, teaching, and student support. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing for TV & Film from Full Sail University, a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Florida State University, and an Associate of Arts degree.
Professionally, Aceia has served as an Academic Advisor and Admissions Editor at Jack Westin, guiding pre-medical students through personal statements, secondary essays, interview preparation, and the medical school admissions process. She has edited hundreds of primary application documents, with every student she supported successfully matriculating into an MD or DO program. Her experience also includes serving as an Abuse Counselor for the Department of Children and Family Services, where she provided crisis support, assessments, and referrals.
Her previous roles include high school English teacher, middle school ELA instructor, Lead Sales Representative, Teacher’s Assistant, and Data Analyst Assistant at the FSU College of Medicine, where she also served as a Program and Production Assistant. In her data-focused role, Aceia maintained databases containing more than 12,000 confidential student records and performed data analysis, reporting, quality assurance, and database management for statewide educational programs. She tracked participant outcomes, verified data accuracy, and prepared reports used for program evaluation. These experiences strengthened her ability to teach complex material, protect sensitive information, support people through important transitions, and communicate with clarity and compassion.
Creatively, Aceia is an accomplished writer, producer, actor, and singer. She wrote, produced, and starred in the original web series Courage to Conquer; authored more than 15 stage plays, including her most popular play, Choices; and created a portfolio that includes a children’s book, a ghostwritten Amazon novel, more than 10 short stories, a feature film, and multiple novels in progress.
Her media work includes scripting, directing, and producing video content for the FSU College of Medicine, Take Stock in Children, and Jack Westin. Aceia currently writes for the Ellen G. White Estate and has written lifestyle and health articles for Pacific Press, bringing thoughtful research, spiritual purpose, and accessible storytelling to faith-centered audiences.
Aceia’s work is grounded in purpose. Whether mentoring students, crafting powerful narratives, or leading creative projects, she brings clarity, compassion, and vision to every space she enters.
A.I.M. was created to inspire people through storytelling, advocacy, and education.
